It was a sad day when my family moved to the US. I missed Vietnam so much, I could barely function. After a few hours at home, I found myself craving fresh Vietnamese food, fresh air, and my old bed.

I’m so happy that there are so many places to go here in the US — but I couldn’t find anything that felt like home to me. Every night was a struggle with my thoughts about missing Vietnam relentlessly nagging at me.

Until last week, when we finally found this cozy villa in District 2 — it’s spacious and airy garden is perfect for me to get some Vietnamese sun whenever I feel homesick.
